Interface LATHE ++
The new generation of interactive programming, developed by D.Electron and Comev, is the product of years of experience beginning in the 1990s with the previous interface Lathe programme, which is still up to date and imitated by our competitors. We now introduce our new version with a wider range of functions and superior power.
Taking advantage of new hardware platforms with the XP Windows system the program is now even more simple and effective.
The system is now able to manage internal information systems as well as providing access to Internet helplines.
Its huge calculating power and advanced programming ensure that the product has the best performance of those on the market.
Each parallel lathe with CNC has a numerical control that simplifies the interface. An operator can use the machine without needing to know iso code.
It is possible to work both manually, as on a traditional parallel lathe, or, using CNC with the guide of the program. In all cases models showing diameter, length etc. that avoid the use of codes (X,Z,G,M etc.) provide guidance for the operator.
The program that the operator creates is drawn step by step to scale, providing a working model.
Once the profile of the article is defined, information on the tools to be used is required with data regarding the cut (speed, feed, depth etc.) which different settings for rough turning, pre finish and finish.
Once a program has been created it is automatically saved and can be recalled, copied, cancelled or modified for similar pieces without needing to run the program from the beginning.
In working a piece the machine behaves like a CNC, in that the profile is rough cut, prefinished and finished in a single operation, rather than step by step, minimising production times. It also provides clear graphics to work from.
The memory capacity of the machine's hard disk is enormous, eliminating the need for external memory space. For greater security programs can be saved in USB (supplied) or by an internet connection.
A floppy disk drive and a CD (or DVD) are also integrated.
Functions and cycles:
MANUAL LATHE
· Constant cutting speed.
· Fast feed.
· Wheel resolution 0.001 - 0.01 - 0.1.
· Feeds, fast and chuck speed and motorised tool with a continuous overdrive option.
· Speed and feed regulation with potentiometers, when not programmed.
· Hand wheel orientation at zero degrees
· Thread reprise
· Complete tool management
AUTOMATIC LATHE
· External, internal and frontal programming, contemporaneously or separately with multiple rough.
· Cycles for
· Rough turning, with constant cutting speed or fixed turns. Orientated rough turning.
· Variable increase of removal in rough turning.
· Feed interruption in rough cutting for materials with difficult shavings.
· pre finish (rough pressed or fusion), with constant cutting speed or fixed turns.
· Finish with constant speed or fixed turns.
· Butting, by diameter or length, from outside to inside or vice versa, with constant cutting speed or fixed turns and scrap management for complete profile finish.
· Cylindrical turning with bevels, radii and unloading grooves adjusted according to tab. UNI in automatic diameter function ( it is also possible to mutiply by a required scale).
· Conical Tornitura with bevels and/or connection radii with multiple masks according to the dimensions available to the operator.
· Radial turning with connection radii and multiple masks according to the dimensions available to the operator.
· Radial grooves, with bevels and/or radii with a rough turning cycle and automatic finish with personalised management of groove bottom scrap, if different from standard and parameters for automatic repetition.
· Cylindrical and conical cutting threads with tearing or radial exit ( Metrico, Whitwhort, Trapezoidale, Quadrata ), Custom cutting threads.
· Cutting threads for winches
· Single or cross threads with tangential approach (brass)
· Centering.
· Compensated tapping with fixed screw tap
· Deep boring with automatic clearance, deep boring with parameters as needed.
· Single bevel at 30° or 45° .
· Simplified tool presetting with ray compensation and tool correction, that can be carried out while working.
· Automatic recovery (voluntary interruption or power cut) at the point of interruption or for program zone.
· SUB rough function (pieces can be worked as previously rough turned, cut or die pieces).
· Axle graphics
· Simulated graphics with non functioning axles.
· Detailed calculation of work times, tool by tool, and in total.
· Specular working from left to external right.
· Tool change control to avoid collisions with the piece
· Program functions for duplicating, cancelling, import, export
· Copy, pasting and cutting function on the piece profile.
· Directory management for filing program
· Alternative front and back turret management
· Management of motorized turret for radial or axial boring, radial or rigid or compensated axial drilling, key. (optional)
· Directory management of multiple archives for file organization and fast searches (search by letter and last program used memorised).
· Video maintenance programs with clear messages
· ZOOM function.
· Modification function
· Groove and threading duplication function.
· Automatic orientation of chuck at the cycle end.
· Language management.
· Conversational programming, with clear messages. Liquid crystal touch screen colour monitor. PENTIUM processor.
· ISO programming (WINTERM).
Winterm is the terminal required to run the programs.
The programs are run in association with the program Lathe++. The program's conversational form means that the user is guided when operating the machine. In its original form a program of advanced Iso with intelligent editing, advises the operator in the case of syntax errors.
The CNC for our machines is the Z32.
CNC Z32
The Z32 is a 32 bit CNC for centres of work, lathes, cutters, copying....with exceptional multiprocess characteristics. It was specifically programmed to support also FMS and machines on which several independent pieces are worked contemporaneously. The Z32 is a numerical control that can easily be adapted to various applications and configured according to the type of machine. For example the constructor can determine:
· number of global axles (up to 16 analogue and 15 digital)
· number and type of contemporary processes (up to 6 types of lathe, cutter, auxiliary axle)
· number and type of axles for each process (up to 16 analogue and 15 digital)
· individual axle characteristics
· PLC and I/O functions (up to 512 + 512)
· special M functions
. fixed cycles
