Tuscany, a land of art and culture – but also of great challenges and passions. This is the very land that gave birth to Comev s.p.a., manufacturer of parallel and CNC lathes.
Today Comev celebrates its 50th anniversary. Over the years it has enjoyed constant growth, asserting itself as a leader in the production and sale of lathes.
The company was established back in 1958 as Soc. Coop. Comm., by a group of workers – endowed with courage, willpower and skill – whom the chronicles of the times had dubbed “The Magnificent Thirteen”.
In 1971 Comm. was transformed into a limited company, and acquired its current name.
Comev anticipates market trends and proposes a customized product, fashioned to suit the requirements of the single operator.
Design has a fundamental role in the evolution of the brand. As has the technological aspect.
All the models are designed and manufactured inside the company, to guarantee accuracy and control of the end product.
Comev is the only Italian company which produces parallel and numeric control lathes from start to finish.
Customers can therefore rely on a constant post-sale service.
Each lathe sums up the brand’s virtues: quality and safety, reliability and guarantee.
But also a harmonious balance between traditional expertise and modern technology.
The Comev world is a realm of attention: to its product, clients, workers and technicians.
The success enjoyed by Comev today is the achievement of those who work there. And of those who, fifty years ago, established the company – with optimism and high hopes.
Comev is pleased to share this success with its customers, who have chosen to grow with the company, to believe in its know-how and in its products.
Faithful to the brand, the company and its philosophy.
It was the year 1958.
Comev issued a challenge to the market of lathes.
Fifty days have gone by since that day.
Fifty years of commitment and passion, fifty years of evolution and constant improvement, fifty years of increasingly innovative, high-performance, technological and safe lathes.
It was the year 1958.
From that moment the world of machine tools has never been the same.
